Race For Adam

Yesterday, there were more than 1000 participants in the Race for Adam! Adam's Dad(Sean) was Ryan's Boy Scout Leader for several years. His son, Adam was diagnosed with Niemann Pick Disease in which there is sadly no known cure. They are such a wonderful family and this race was to raise funds toward researching and finding a cure for this disease. It was so nice to see so many people there participating and supporting this important cause.
Ryan is the runner in our family. He placed first in his age group(under 14) and placed 13th. place out of the 1000 participants. Not everyone ran...probably about half of the participants walked. Way to go Ryan! It was a 3 mile race and Ryan did it in 21 minutes! Ry is wearing the black shirt. Adam is the cutie that is placing the medal around zryan's neck and his Dad is right there with him.I will post some photos below and if you would like to learn more about Niemann Pick - please go to .
