Hooray for a warm weather day here on the East Coast!! We were able to sqeeze in some bubble and bike time in between our errands. It's funny...Ella has Spring fever just as much as I do. Everyday she asks if we can go out and do outdoor things-play ball, blow bubbles, ride bikes, go to the park. It is still really cold here, though. Last week upon her persistence, I bundled the girls both up and we went for a walk. That lasted 2 minutes before Ella told me it is TOO COLD out here!
So, we are waiting for that nice weather to come and stay.
This picture if for Sophie's prayer angels. We had SOME progress when our 6 month home date passed in January. But we have had much more progress between 6 and 7 months. In fact this week-end, for the very first time, she all of a sudden (after 7 months) decided that she likes her Ba Ba. She now goes to him frequently and asks him to pick her up. She gives him hugs and wants to be his little buddy now. A week ago, she still wanted nothing to do with him. So this was a huge step for her. Thanks for keeping her in your prayers as I know many of you do faithfully!!
This is what our crazy kitty does for entertainment during the day. Well, one of his many hobbies. He bird watches right in our home. We have 2 little birds, a cockatiel and a parakeet in one cage. He sets up post there and watches every move they make. We also have an African Grey in a large cage where he also keeps watch. The big bird, Sammie is not phased at all by the kitten. Thank goodness!
