Saturday Fun

Yesterday, we were so happy to be able to spend some time with Lisa from The Long Road to China!! Ella and I met her and her adorable Sarah at a local park. Lisa was so kind as to help me FINALLY learn a little more about my SLR! I bought it about a year ago and was so excited to have a camera with more functions, yet I have been stuck in "auto". Just have not had the time to educate myself any further with the camera. Lisa, I am so really is a good feeling to be able to move past my auto mode. : ) We had lots of fun with you and Sarah!

These are some of my favorite pics that I took from yesterday.

I LOVE this one. There was only 1 bottle of bubbles left and the girls are trying to share the same wand. See how Sarah is holding onto Ella's little arm as they both concentrate on blowing those bubbles....cute!

I like the expression on Ella's face in this pic...also love how it shows Sarah's adorable haircut!

Thanks again, Lisa! We look forward to getting together with you and Sarah again!!

Yesterday was also the last day at Chinese school for the semester. We will miss it...I am happy with all that we have learned this year!!

Here is the teacher handing out medals to the kids for all of their hard work.

The girls with their teachers. The teacher on the left(closest to Ella) is their teacher and the gal on the right is the helper. Miss Susan, the teacher, is one of the most patient ladies I have ever known....what a great teacher she has been. We will miss her so much next year as the girls will progress to the next level.
you have to note the look on Sophie's face here. lol! She will not tolerate anyone touching her and will usually jump 3 feet to get away from someone's touch. I bribed her here in this pic, but the look on her face tells it all. hee hee!

Happy Mom's Day to all of you Moms out there!!!

Thank you Michelle,
Love the pictures. I also have a camera that stays on auto. I've not had time to learn much more than that but I still love it. I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day. I would love to be able to read more about Sophie if possible. My son has many things going on also. Thanks again for sharing your blessings with us.

Oh how awesome that you got to meet them. She is so sweet and I DO love her new haircut!

How exciting about Chinese school. You know we had to sit through several classes about "touching" here and Lottie does NOT like anyone to touch her. She will actually slap someone. In this class we learned that it is the child's choice if someone can touch them and that is okay. Emma on the other hand will climb in anyone's lap! (I know Sophie has other things going on but it made me feel a little better about Lottie being that way) Now we are working on "if Mommy is with you I want you to answer someone if they speak to you" LOL Yeah right!

How wonderful that you've found another playmate, Sarah, for your daughters to get to know! You can never have too many friends no matter how young or old you grow! We love you!Love, Maria XO
