Seeing Pink

It has been a week since I last posted. A whole lot of healing has gone on in that week. I am oh, so thankful to share with you that I am feeling much better. Each day brings a little more strength and a little more normalcy. Yay, God!! Thanks bunches for all of your prayers!! Also, the cards and flowers and thinking-of-you gifts I have received really helped to keep the sun(and the Son!) shining over here!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. All of the blinking pink over here is to remind you to go and get those mammograms. This is something that is very near and dear to my heart as I had quite a scare with it a year ago this month. I am on the 6 month plan now with my mammos. Please do not put off your mammos because you are healthy or because there is no family history of cancer or because mammograms are for older people. Please grab a friend or your sister and go get smooshed. It is sooo important!!!

Be blessed, my friends!!!

I got smooshed last month! What a relief when the postcard comes in the mail saying everything looks okay! I had a scare a few years ago, so I'm always anxious to get that card.

I'm so glad that you are doing so well, Michelle! Healing can be hard to do when you have little ones to care for. I hope that you were spoiled in every way! Hugs!

I'm 35 now and due to start going regularly. I had a baseline a few years ago because of my family history. I love that you are reminding everyone to get smooshed. Too many die too young.

Glad to hear all is well with you and that you are feeling better!

Good Morning My Friend!

I am SOOOO happy you are on the road to healing!!! I was worried about you.

Oh...is it squooshy time again? :::sigh:::

Breast cancer awareness is near and dear to me as well. I lost a dear aunt to breast cancer. Another aunt has had a double mastectomy. I recently found out that my mother was one of the first ladies to test out the mammogram machines when they were first introduced. Lucky her. LOL

Thanks for the reminder!

Love ya!

Wow, my doctor's been after me the past few years to get one, but I keep telling her "it doesn't run in my family."

I'm calling today to schedule it. Thank you for caring about all your readers!
